About Chris Ross

When singer/songwriter Chris Ross was young (born in 1984) he fell in love with early ‘90s country and that early love surely helped to transform him into the artist he is today. His songwriting seamlessly blends rock, blues, R&B, and soul to tell the kind of stories that artists like Zac Brown Band, Jason Isbell, John Hiatt are well known for.  Heard often on Stephen King's Rock n' Roll station WKIT, Ross's Americana roots have earned him a dedicated following of rock, country, and blues fans alike. Opening for John Hiatt on June 28th, don't miss your opportunity to come make a memory when you see Ross play live to celebrate Greenville becoming Purpleville.
