Each year Greenville, Maine temporarily transforms into "Purpleville," a townwide effort to raise funds and awareness to fight Alzheimer's Disease
About
During Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness month the town of Greenville, Maine temporarily transforms into "Purpleville" to fight Alzheimer's and dementia. The natural beauty and offerings of this small town on Moosehead Lake makes it the perfect place to make memories. Purpleville is our commitment to saving the memories we all make here.
Fundraise
Purpleville hosts events to raise funds to reach our goal but you can host a fundraiser of your own and be part of Purpleville too! Pick an activity you love, invite your friends to join you, then ask others to support your efforts. Want help figuring out how to organize your event? Call or text Katie at
207-280-1900 or email purplevillemaine@gmail.com
Donate
Our goal is to raise $26,000 for Purpleville to support people living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers with the support and resources they need as they navigate the course of the disease and make a contribution to the Jackson Lab Alzheimer's Research Center that is leading the way with scientific projects that may hold the key to a treatment or ultimately a cure.
