Before the official transformation from Greenville to Purpleville, the whole community is invited to gather at King's Treats to enjoy an evening of music, purple ice cream, and the picturesque atmosphere that is downtown Greenville on a summer night.
A portion of the proceeds from the blueberry flavored purple treat on special will support Purpleville and get us off to a sweet start as we gear up to raise funds that help fuel the work our friends at Pine Tree Hospice and Jackson Lab do.
Rumor has it the Purpleville Mayor will be broadcasting live from the event so don't miss the first opportunity to score a Scavenger Hunt for Joy Wildcard!
Sponsored by StressFree Moose Pub & Café | 65 Pritham Ave | 4p-7p
Stacey, Brenda, and the StressFree crew launch you into a weekend of FUNdraising, and “did we really do that?” memories all while wholesomely (probably) supporting Pine Tree Hospice and The JAX Center for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Research.
Ribbon Cutting: Behold the annual moment when Greenville’s Town Manager and Purpleville’s Mayor team up for the most dramatic ribbon cutting in the North Woods. They will approach the ribbon with the solemnity of a royal coronation and the precision of two people who definitely did not practice this ahead of time. Cheer loudly. It helps their aim. This is the moment that transforms Greenville into Purpleville, so feel free to gasp dramatically as the ribbon falls. It’s encouraged.
Calling All Purpleville Fashionistas: Show up wearing your boldest, brightest, most “I‑found‑this-in-a-dream” purple outfit. Sequins? Yes. Feather boas? Obviously. A hat shaped like a moose wearing purple sunglasses? You will be showered in praise, celebrated, and possible promoted to Mayor.
50/50 Raffle: Enter the 50/50 raffle, the only fundraiser in Greenville that believes in a future cure for Alzheimer’s with the same unstoppable optimism as a toddler who just discovered the snack drawer. Half the pot goes to the winner, half goes to the cause, and all of it goes toward bragging rights you can wield for the rest of the weekend.
Our friends at North Pointe Farm and Garden, Moosehead Mini Golf, and King Pine Disc Golf are teaming up to host the first ever Purpleville Putt and Chuck. Teams will get a special Purpleville score card as they test their alternative golf prowess in rounds of disc and mini golf anytime from Noon on Friday through Noon on Sunday. Bragging rights will be loud. Possibly obnoxious. Definitely deserved.
Putt:
Located just 5 minutes south of Greenville on Route 15, Moosehead Mini Golf is a destination for fun and relaxing outdoor entertainment for visitors and locals of the Moosehead Lake Region. You can even reach it on ATV, which feels very on brand for Purpleville. Navigate a beautifully landscaped 18 hole miniature golf course that is challenging and fun for all ages and abilities. The course features 9 ADA accessible holes and ADA compliant restrooms, so everyone can join the chaos.
Chuck:
King Pine Disc Golf in Shirley, Maine is just south of Greenville and ready to test your disc throwing confidence. The Front 9 was carved out of old grown in farmland in 2021 and opened for play in 2022, designed by Owner Ryan Edmondson. Thanks to support from the Northern Forest Center, the Back 9 was designed by Eric McCabe of Dynamic Discs and opened in 2024. The course continues to grow and evolve in hopes of building a thriving local disc golf community. Translation: you will have a blast, lose at least one disc, and immediately want to play again.
Plant:
North Pointe Farm and Garden offers expert agricultural, floral, and landscaping services, including Husqvarna sales, farm supplies, seasonal flowers, and professional landscaping and excavation. They are the kind of partner who helps things grow, whether it is your garden, your lawn, or your competitive spirit during Purpleville Putt and Chuck.
ATV Scavenger Hunt for a Cure: Marc Constantine and his crew of extraordinary ATV Clubbers are unleashing a super fun adventure through the woods where riders will decorate their ATVs, side-by-sides, and any other vehicle that can navigate the rugged backwoods terrain to hunt for clues and compete for some stellar prizes. Hunters should keep an eye peeled for the Purpleville Mayor on the trails as the living breathing over-exuberant wild card.
Game Day to Remember: Remember when the KickbALZ tournament got rained out last year and we all and we all migrated to Woody’s like a herd of confused but determined purple penguins? Talk about a game changer. This year it's back as its very own main event ready to make champions out of folks that were never going to kick a ball anyhow!

When the sun goes down and the moose come out to play the Tyler Healy Band will take the stage at Purpleville After Dark! The Purpleville Mayor will be collecting donations at the door with wild card energy that will linger into the night. This is for adult Purplevillians only and it’s a good thing it’s dark because we will all cut loose and engage in shenanigans that would make a moose pause and say “you good?”

Are you ready to kick some grass and make a difference? The 4th annual KickbALZ tournament that’s been the talk of the town and keeping the ice pack industry in business! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM
Tournament Details: Winning teams will be determined by who gets to 11 points first within a half hour. If neither team gets 11 runs in a half hour, the team with the most runs wins! If teams are tied at the the of 30 minutes, both teams will advance.
Darling’s Ice Cream Truck: We have invited the Darling’s Ice Cream Truck to join us from 11a-1p. Their mission is just like ours.. have some fun, do some good in our communities, and make people smile. They offer free, pre-packaged ice cream in exchange for voluntary donations for Purpleville out of the sweet truck their talented Darlings team designed and built back in 2012. The ice cream truck, manned by their dedicated team of Ice Cream Ambassadors, attends events all over Maine to help raise funds for all kinds of causes and organizations in need. We will make a big deal out of the announcement if they accept our invitation and add Purpleville to their list of events for the 2026 season!
Awards & Wrap Party: This is a bit of an oversell. By the end of the weekend, if we have done our job we will all be too tired to party. In all likelihood we will be nursing our sore bodies and hangovers as we present the pathetically small trophy and announce the amount of money we raised as quickly as possible so we can all go home and dream about next year.
